Part of our Kinky Vintage Collection, carefully curated by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, this wonderfully eccentric hand-carved wooden nutcracker is a characterful example of early 20th-century folk craftsmanship.
Dating from the 1910s, the piece features a richly carved stylised face with a distinctive ridged cap, displaying the playful, expressive quality that makes antique treenware so collectible. The warm honey-brown patina has developed beautifully over more than a century, enhancing the depth of the carving and celebrating the natural grain of the wood.
Both decorative and functional, this unusual nutcracker makes a striking addition to a kitchen, bar, library or cabinet of curiosities.
